Time conversion and event details
The generator and converter run in your browser. The tool does not send event names or entered timestamps to an application server. An event name remains in the page until you leave or reload it. We do not require a user account or Discord authorization.
Local preferences
We use browser local storage under timecord-preferences to remember your source timezone, 12/24-hour preview choice, and preview language. We do not store the event name or event time there. You can delete those preferences here or clear this site’s browser data.
Shared links
A shared link includes Unix seconds, a source timezone, and a format letter in its URL. It does not include your event name. Anyone with that URL can see the selected event time. Your browser history and hosting access logs may contain the URL and its query string, so do not treat it as private.
Hosting and local actions
The hosting provider may process IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and access times to deliver the site and maintain security. Retention depends on the hosting service selected for deployment.
The tool emits local browser events for actions such as copying and decoding. They contain the action name and tool name, not event details. This version does not install an external analytics service.
Advertising
Advertising is disabled in this deployment. No AdSense or consent-management script is loaded. A reserved advertisement area, if shown in preview mode, is only a layout placeholder.
When Google advertising is enabled, read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s ad settings. This policy must be reviewed when the site’s hosting, advertising, or analytics configuration changes.
